Hajj and Umrah — the Menveo certificate

For Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Health requires Menveo (Meningococcal ACWY conjugate) within the last five years and not less than 10 days before arrival, for every pilgrim aged one year and over. We administer Menveo and issue the certificate the same visit — it goes into the Saudi visa application directly. Full UK private travel vaccination menu: Stamaril (Yellow Fever) with same-day ICVP, Menveo (Meningococcal ACWY for Hajj/Umrah), Avaxim/Havrix (Hepatitis A), Engerix B (Hepatitis B, including the accelerated 0/7/21 schedule for short-notice travel), Typhim Vi (Typhoid — particularly important for travel to South Asia, where typhoid remains endemic in many regions), Rabipur (Rabies pre-exposure, relevant for stray-dog-heavy areas of India and Pakistan), Ixiaro (Japanese Encephalitis), Dukoral (Cholera), Qdenga (Dengue — South Asia has substantial dengue transmission) and Ixchiq (Chikungunya). Malaria prescribing: Malarone, doxycycline, mefloquine — dispensed the same visit.

Family travel and children's schedules

We see large multi-generational family bookings from Rusholme — grandparents, parents, children all travelling together. We plan vaccination schedules across the whole family in one visit (Yellow Fever from 9 months, most other travel vaccines from age 1) and ensure children's UK routine schedules are up to date against the UKHSA Green Book before layering on travel vaccines.
