Travel vaccines without leaving Old Trafford.

Trafford Clinic is Old Trafford's local travel clinic — housed inside Empire Pharmacy at 122 Seymour Grove, a few hundred metres from the football ground and the cricket ground, and just up the road from Trafford Bar Metrolink.

If you live or work in Old Trafford, you don't have to trek into town. Yellow Fever, Hajj jabs, Hep A, Typhoid, Rabies, malaria tablets — we administer the lot on-site, same day where clinically possible, and issue any certificates you need before you leave.

Haroon Iqbal MPharm IP, lead pharmacist and Independent Prescriber, reviews every itinerary against current NaTHNaC guidance — so you walk out knowing exactly which vaccines you needed, which ones you didn't, and why.

Travel clinic for Old Trafford residents

If you live in Old Trafford you don't really have a journey — Trafford Clinic operates from Empire Pharmacy at 122 Seymour Grove, opposite the cricket ground. Walk-in capacity is good, and we routinely vaccinate Old Trafford travellers the same day they call. Whether it's last-minute Hajj documentation, a Brazilian Yellow Fever certificate, or a family trip to Pakistan with three children needing different schedules, we'll work through the lot in one appointment. Haroon Mohammad Iqbal MPharm, IP (GPhC reg. 2051093) leads every consultation personally.

What we offer in one appointment

The full UK private travel vaccination menu: Stamaril (Yellow Fever) with same-day ICVP certification — we are a NaTHNaC-designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre — Menveo (Meningococcal ACWY for Hajj and Umrah), Avaxim/Havrix (Hepatitis A), Engerix B (Hepatitis B, including the accelerated 0/7/21 schedule for short-notice travel), Typhim Vi (Typhoid), Rabipur (Rabies pre-exposure), Ixiaro (Japanese Encephalitis), Dukoral (Cholera), Qdenga (Dengue) and Ixchiq (Chikungunya). On-site malaria prescribing covers Malarone, doxycycline and mefloquine, dispensed the same visit. Every plan is built against current NaTHNaC country pages and the UKHSA Green Book.

The Old Trafford walk-in advantage

Most Old Trafford patients book a slot online and arrive within the hour. We also accept walk-ins where the clinic diary allows — useful for the inevitable "my visa needs Menveo and I leave on Friday" call. Free patient parking on-site removes the city-centre parking headache. If you're a regular at the clinic for repeat prescriptions or NHS services, we have your medication history on file already, which speeds the consultation considerably.

If you're booking Hajj or Umrah, see the wider Manchester travel hub and our Saudi Arabia travel page for the full Menveo and visa workflow. Travelling to South Asia — see India, Pakistan or Bangladesh. Friends and family elsewhere in Trafford or the city? We see plenty of cross-bookings from Stretford, Sale, Chorlton and Whalley Range. FAQ

Common questions from Old Trafford travellers.

If your question isn't here, give us a call and we'll talk it through.

No. Anyone can self-refer to a private travel clinic. Book directly online or call 0161 258 6149.
Meningitis ACWY (Menveo) is mandatory for the Saudi Arabia visa and must have been administered within the last 5 years. We administer it and issue the certificate the same visit. Hep A, Typhoid and seasonal flu are also strongly recommended depending on your itinerary.
Ideally 4–6 weeks before travel. For Hajj jabs and most single-dose vaccines, same-week appointments are fine. Same-day slots usually available with two hours' notice.
Depends on where you're going, how long, what activities, age and medical history. We don't sell a generic 'package' — every recommendation is based on your specific itinerary against current NaTHNaC guidance.
Some are. Tetanus/Diphtheria/Polio combined, Hep A and Typhoid through GP practices for certain destinations. Yellow Fever, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis and Hajj jabs are private.
Yes. Most travel vaccines from 1 year, Yellow Fever from 9 months.
Plan for 20–30 minutes. That covers the pre-travel risk assessment, the vaccines themselves, and time for any certificates or malaria prescriptions.
You can. We're at 122 Seymour Grove, opposite Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground, three minutes' walk from Trafford Bar Metrolink. We hold same-day slots most days, but booking online avoids any wait.
