Stretford and Old Trafford share a boundary — Trafford Clinic is essentially the local travel clinic for Stretford. Five minutes up the A56 or a single tram stop on the Altrincham line.
We handle every common travel scenario: Hajj and Umrah jabs, Yellow Fever for South America and Africa, Hep A and Typhoid for South Asia, Rabies for longer trips, Japanese Encephalitis for rural Asia, and malaria tablets across the board. Haroon Iqbal MPharm IP is on-site as an Independent Prescriber.
Free patient parking on Seymour Grove.
Travel clinic for Stretford residents
Stretford sits directly next to Old Trafford, and Trafford Clinic is about a 5–10 minute drive or one stop down the Altrincham Metrolink line. We operate from Empire Pharmacy, 122 Seymour Grove, Old Trafford (GPhC premises 1123966), led by Haroon Mohammad Iqbal MPharm, IP (GPhC reg. 2051093). We're a NaTHNaC-designated Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre with same-day Independent Prescriber capability — every vaccine and certificate in one visit.
What we offer in one appointment
Full UK private travel vaccination service: Stamaril (Yellow Fever) with same-day ICVP, Menveo (Meningococcal ACWY for Hajj/Umrah), Avaxim/Havrix (Hepatitis A), Engerix B (Hepatitis B, including the accelerated 0/7/21 schedule), Typhim Vi (Typhoid), Rabipur (Rabies pre-exposure), Ixiaro (Japanese Encephalitis), Dukoral (Cholera), Qdenga (Dengue) and Ixchiq (Chikungunya). Stretford patient profile
Stretford bookings are a mix of Trafford-resident family travel (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh — see our India, Pakistan and Bangladesh pages), Hajj and Umrah pilgrims (see our Saudi Arabia travel page), and a steady flow of leisure travellers to South-East Asia and South America. Many Stretford patients are already known to us through our pharmacy's NHS services — your medication history is on file, which speeds the consultation.
