UKAS-accredited private blood tests at 122 Seymour Grove. Same-day sample, results in 24-48 hours.
Old Trafford's local private blood test clinic.
Old Trafford patients can walk to Trafford Clinic for private blood tests — we're at 122 Seymour Grove (M16 0FF), within a 10-minute walk of much of the M16 residential streets and a short drive from the Cricket Ground end. The clinic operates from Empire Pharmacy (GPhC premises 1123966), led by independent prescriber Haroon Iqbal. We use UKAS-accredited labs and most routine panels (thyroid, full blood count, ferritin, HbA1c, vitamin D, B12, lipids, hormone profiles, PSA, pre-Mounjaro baseline) come back in 24–48 hours. Every booking includes a pharmacist consultation to interpret your results in plain English — we won't just hand you a number and walk away.
Blood tests for Old Trafford residents
Trafford Clinic operates from Empire Pharmacy at 122 Seymour Grove, opposite Emirates Old Trafford. For local residents we offer same-day phlebotomy, UKAS-accredited lab processing (The Doctors Laboratory, the same lab NHS trusts and consultant private practices use), and results emailed in 24–48 hours with annotation by an Independent Prescriber. Haroon Mohammad Iqbal MPharm, IP (GPhC reg. 2051093) reviews every report personally.
The panel menu
20+ named panels and most named single tests, including FBC, lipid profile, HbA1c, LFTs, U&E, TFTs (TSH, free T4, free T3, with anti-TPO antibodies on request), iron studies (ferritin, TIBC, transferrin saturation), vitamin D (25-OH), serum B12 (with active B12 reflex), folate, hormone panels (testosterone, oestradiol, FSH/LH, AMH, SHBG, prolactin), CRP and ESR, PSA, and coeliac screen. Phlebotomy follows Royal College of Pathologists standards. Fasting required for lipid panels (10–14 hours); morning slots are best for testosterone (7–9am peak). Children (under-16 with parental consent) welcome, with fingerprick options available where venous draw is difficult.
Common reasons Old Trafford patients come to us
Fatigue workups (FBC, ferritin, B12, TSH, vitamin D); pre-employment medicals and occupational screens; baseline panels for our on-site weight loss programme before starting Mounjaro or Wegovy; private check-ups where the NHS pathway is too slow; thyroid follow-ups for patients already on levothyroxine; hormone panels for fertility planning and HRT assessment. If a flag warrants GP follow-up we provide a free annotated summary letter citing reference ranges and the relevant NICE CKS pathway.
